Thanks to Zach Levine of the Houston Chronicle who passed on this information: Armando Benitez debuted with Round Rock Monday night at Dell Diamond. The right-handed former all-star retired the first two batters he faced in his Round Rock debut. However, before he recorded the third out in the eighth inning against Memphis, Benitez allowed four straight home runs and a single for good measure. In preparation for his next outing, he did strike out the Memphis pitcher to end the inning.
