Paulino may be called up for Tuesday start

If Roy Oswalt's back isn't well by Tuesday Round Rock right-hander Felipe Paulino will be called up to fill in as a starter against the Giants. Yorman Bazardo was considered for the spot, but he is out of options, meaning that if the team called him up and then tried to send him back down to Round Rock, he would need to clear waivers. The Astros decided to go with Paulino to avoid that scenario, under which they may lose Bazardo, who has been neck in neck with Bud Norris as the top starter at AAA this season.
