Epps Powers GCL Astros to Victory

Chris Epps three-run homer in the top of the 7th inning Sunday broke a 4-4 tie and led the GCL Astros to an 8-7 win over the GCL Nationals. Epps, 23, is now batting .316 for the season with three doubles, three triples, three home runs and 24 RBI in 29 Gulf Coast League games. Epps was drafted in out of Clemson in the 45th Round of the 2011 Draft.
