Two members of the Lancaster bullpen have direct ties to the Houston area.
Left-hander Colton Pitkin, 21, was drafted by the Astros in 2007 out of Baytown Sterling High School. Pitkin has made 28 appearances for Lancaster in 2011, posting a 5.02 ERA in 43 innnigs pitched.
Left-hander Wes Musick, 24, was drafted by Colorado in 2009 out of the University of Houston. The Astros acquired Musick as part of the Matt Lindstrom trade. Musick has recently returned to the JetHawks from the disabled list. For the season with the JetHawks, he has made 10 appearances, striking out 24 in 22 innings, while posting a 5.32 ERA.
