Martinez up Two Notches since All-Star Break

Not that he was strugglig prior to the Texas League All-Star Game on June 29, but Corpus Christi outfielder J.D. Martinez is producing even more since participating in the mid-season contest. In the his last 15 games, Martinez is 24 for 54 with five doubles, one triple, five home runs and 17 RBI. He has also walked 14 times and scored 15 runs, and has a .852 slugging post all-star game. For the entire season, Martinez, who turns 24 on August 21, is batting .341 with 11 home runs 62 RBI and a .543 slugging percentage.
