Cosart to Start for the HOOKS tonight

Jarred Cosart, acquired from Philadelphia in the Hunter Pence trade, will be starting for the Hooks tonight in San Antonio. The right-hander from the Houston area (Clear Creek High School) was drafted by Philadelphia in the 38th Round in 2008. He pitched for Philadelphia's High A Clearwater this season.

The two starters acquired by the Astros from the Braves in the Michael Bourn trade will also be starting for Corpus Christi. Paul Clemens, RHP will make his Hooks' debut Thursday at San Antonio. Lefty Brett Oberholtzer will take the mound at Whataburger Field on Friday against Midland. Ross Seaton is still slated to start for the Hooks Wednesday in San Antonio.

Friday would have been Henry Sosa's day to pitch again for Corpus Christi.
