On the occasion of Andy Van Hekken's 350th minor league pitching appearance last night, Steve Vedder of the The Grand Rapids Press posted an article on the Michigan-native's well-traveled baseball career. Van Hekken celebrated the milestone by allowing one run in 5 2/3 innings pithced for Oklahoma City against Colorado Springs.
Van Hekken's career has found him playing in the Farmstros Village since the middle of the 2008 season.
