Pitchers in the Astros' farm system with experience as starters should get their resume ready.
According to the Astros' website, the club is keeping its lips sealed about the replacement for Jordan Lyles, who has been sent to Oklahoma City in an arm-saving move. Lyles' turn in the rotation would have been on Thursday, the first game of the San Francisco series.
Friday would be Henry Sosa's turn to make his fourth big league start. However, as of this morning, Friday's probable starter is still listed as TBA. Added to this rotation uncertainty is the possibility of Brett Myers and/or Wandy Rodriguez being moved from the roster in a trade in the near future.
For those of you who care to speculate about the starting rotation possibilities, here's a rundown of the latest starts for six starters and two relievers in the organization. (Please note: Clemens, Cossart, and Van Hekken are not on the 40-man roster at this time.)
