JetHawks Announcer Calling a Game in Texas Saturday

"My worlds are colliding! Heading to near Houston, but with Montana St. Maybe I'll meet some Astros minor league fans."

The above message was tweeted by Lancaster JetHawks' play-by-play announcerJeff Lasky Sunday morning

Lasky, who calls football and basketball games for Montana St. in addition to his JetHawks duties, will be traveling to Texas with the Bobcats for their NCAA Division I FCS Quarterfinal contest against Sam Houston State on Saturday morning. The game is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.(Minute Maid Park time-SHSU's Bowers Stadium is about 70 miles from MMP.) Lasky's call will be accessible through the Montana St. athletics website.

Lasky and the Bobcats will arrive in College Station Thursday night. This is Lasky's first time to be in Texas since September 2007 when Montana St. took on Texas A&M at Kyle Field. Lasky's stay in Texas will be a short one as he will be back in Bozeman to call a basketball game Sunday afternoon.
