Since Reid Ryan asked me via Twitter how the Rangers can select Farmstros in tomorrow's Rule 5 draft, I decided to do a bit of research on the matter. I'll admit I was relying on my agent to take care of this, until I realized, I don't have an agent.
Surprisingly, there is not much information about bloggers being drafted in the Rule 5 draft. However, here is what I can tell the Rangers and any other team that might be interested in my "lottery pick"-type services for the 2012 season:
A team can select Farmstros by tweeting their intentions @farmstros before noon(Minute Maid Park time) Friday. If more than one team does this, I will honor the order of the Rule 5 draft.
For $49,999, the team that selects Farmstros will have my services to cover any aspect of their team for one calendar year. The team will also cover relocation costs if applicable. If the team decides to relingquish control of Farmstros before the end of a year, they will be reimbursed $24,999.50.
Farmstros is also eligible for the AAA phase of the Rule 5 Draft. The same qualifications as mentioned above apply to that phase as well.
For any organizations unfamiliar with Farmstros, please feel to read this rough draft of the Farmstros Fifth Anniversary Guide.
Reid, I hope this answers your question.
