Jordan Lyles will be joining the Astros and making a spot start in Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon. Lyles has made four starts at AAA in 2012, posting a 3.46 ERA in 26 innings. Sunday was his scheduled turn in the Oklahoma City rotation. He will fill the empty spot left by Kyle Weiland's injury. Bud Norris who was scheduled to pitch on Sunday, will now pitch Monday at Minute Maid Park against the Mets.
Lyles' call-up was confirmed by Brad Mills to Zachary Levine, according to Levine's Twitter feed(@zacharylevine).
