2012 Farmstros Five- Week #7

Here is the Farmstros Five for the week of May 17-23, 2012:

The Top Performer:

Luis Cruz, 21, LHP, Lexington.  Cruz keeps rolling for the Legends.  He went 7 2./3 scoreless innings in his only start this week.  He allowed only three hits and struck out seven.  In his last six starts, Cruz has an ERA of 0.55.

The Next Three:

Adam Bailey, 24, OF, Lancaster.  Bailey was 12 for 26 with two doubles, two home runs and eight RBI.

Brett Oberholtzer, 22, LHP, Corpus Christi. Oberholtzer went six scoreless in his one start this week.  He allowed eight hits and struck out nine.

Jimmy Paredes, 23, 2B, Oklahoma City.  Paredes makes the Farmstros Five for the second straight week.  This week he was 13 for 29 with two doubles, one triple, one home run, four RBI and five stolen bases.

Kike Hernandez, 20, IF, Lancaster.  Hernandez was 9 for 20 with two doubles, one triple and four RBI.

Mike Hessman, 34, IF, Oklahoma City.  Hessman went 9 for 18 during the week.  He had three doubles, three home runs and eight RBI.

Brett Wallace, 25, IF, Oklahoma City.  Wallace was 11 for 28 for the RedHawks.  He had one double, three home runs and eight RBI.
