Folty can pump his fastball up to 99 mph and normally sits in the 93-95 range. His curve
shows plus potential with good bite, while his change is ahead of his curve.
One thing I read about Folty is that he is a major work ethic guy who always
pushes his catcher to make sure he works all his pitches and all his weak spots.
I imagine that Folty will skip Lancaster(after spending two seasons at Low A Lexington)
and move to Corpus Christi. Mike will make or break
himself based on the developement of his command. His off-speed pitch should continue to develop, and
he could be a top of the rotation guy for Houston.
